The Neptune Cabinet System has been developed by Advanced Cabinet Solutions (ACS Ltd) to provide a solution for the numerous problems that traditional cabinets cause.
Neptune Cabinets are:
Designed to Eliminate Hinge and Drawer Break Out Over time and with normal usage all cupboards and drawers are subject to water spills, and the usual wear and tear of being leaned on and knocked into. Hinges and drawer runners in traditional cabinetry can work loose at mounting points and everyone is familiar with a tired looking kitchen where cupboard doors seem to sag and no longer line up evenly. The Neptune Cabinet System completely eliminates all these problems with their unique aluminium tracking system that provides extreme strength and durability to the drawers and cupboards. No more sagging, no more doors popping out of their mounts. Even if the cupboard doors are swung on or the drawers are stood in the hinges and mounts stay strong and in place!
Resistant to Water Damage Everyone is familiar with water leaks, spills and in some instances floods when kitchen, bathroom and laundry cabinets become disaster areas. Even normal daily useage in these areas creates a moisture build up which is not always able to be wiped clean completely. Over the course of time traditional cabinetry products swell with this moisture and significantly shorten the quality and life of your kitchen, bathroom and laundry vanities. The Neptune Cabinet System is made from a unique revolutionary product – Stiroboard – a completely submersible product that will not warp, swell or rot even under the most wettest of conditions.
Resistant to Bacteria Unfortunately by the time we can see the evidence of bacterial growth in the cupboards it is too late to be able to get rid of it! Crumbs of food, the germs lurking in the cleaning cloth, the areas that you can’t reach and the bacteria that breeds within the cabinet’s rotting walls are a result of using either solid wood or fibre boards with unsealed ends for the cabinetry shells. Stiroboard – the revolutionary product developed by ACS for Neptune Cabinet Systems has no timber content, is fully waterproof and does not require sealing of any kind. Simply put – there is nowhere for the bacteria to get a hold and grow. Easy to keep clean, the cabinets remain hygienic and fresh looking – to the naked eye and under the microscope!
Manufactured with Simple, Low Cost Cutting Sheet Software As technology improves and the need to remain competitive becomes more important many industries believe that the only way to stay at the front of the market is to invest in expensive machinery. The philosophy of being ‘bigger, better or faster’ often includes huge financial commitments, the need to hire skilled operators and a continual schedule of upgrading software and training. Neptune Cabinet Systems is unique – there is no need for an investment in the latest technology or expensive plant setups. These cabinets can be produced quickly and efficiency with little or no investment needed in equipment. The benefits from using Neptune Cabinet Systems impact directly on the bottomline – with efficiencies gained from a simplified organisation and a lower level of skilled staff.
If your business already uses a basic design package or even uses hand drawn designs the Neptune Software System has been developed to include several modules that can be used across a variety of company operating requirements:
i) All customer enquiries can be managed from initial contact through to the end of the completed contract ii) Cutting sheets can be simply loaded and prepared for a manual cut iii) For a more technically advanced business, Neptune Software can be used in a PC driven plant iv) Your factory manager can load up and send tasks to his team so that he can spend more time away from the floor and know that the staff are fully loaded with work v) The Neptune Software System can also be used as a time manager for monitoring each task
Easy Assembly and Transport Everyone is familiar with the traditional method of assembly: cabinets are put together in the factory, the doors, panels, hardware and accessories are all fitted and then broken down to be trucked to the site. Some of the problems with this method include damage to the product and the property during the transportation and installation process and many sites have very difficult access.
The Neptune Cabinet System can be pre assembled in the factory or it can be supplied as a Flat Pack. This option is particularly valuable where there are concerns about site access, moving large cabinets through doorways, hallways or up stairways. Once on site the cabinets are quick and easy to assemble and install.
Using the Neptune Cabinet System provides real savings – and therefore more profit - for businesses:
- Less rent to pay as large factory space if no longer necessary
- Reduced cartage costs as Flat Packs can be transported by van, ute or small truck
- Less damage to products and property with the assemble and install as you go approach
Easy Installation Installation of the Neptune Cabinet System is quick and easy, giving your business greater profitability. Using a ‘Dead Level’ plinth with adjustable feet allows the installer to mix tradition with modern practicality. Toe kicks can be cut and fitted before the cabinets are placed, making it easier for the installer who no longer has to work on his hands and knees adjusting, levelling and scribing to floors. Once the cabinets are positioned they are always Dead Level. Plumbing up and creating horizontal lines is done with an easy to use laser system so that the cabinets fit first time – no continual and time consuming adjustments are needed. The ease of top fitting is significantly improved as there are no rails to cut away for appliances and if the top has a pre mounted sink the face frame can be removed and simply refitted.
Reducing Production Costs One of the main contributors to a profitable bottomline is the ability to balance labour content with output. Throughout the industry there are a wide variety of shop set ups: some companies have state of the art equipment used by highly skilled operators, others companies have highly skilled workers without the investment in machinery. Comparing costs between companies with very different organisational structures and profit centres can be very difficult. However, Neptune Cabinet Systems can be produced within any existing production set up without the need for any large investment in machinery and it definitely does not need workers to be specially trained. Whilst there may be an added material cost, the savings in labour and reduced cost of the plant far outweigh any extra material cost.
